MEMORY'S AFTERLIFE • TRUST CENTER

Your memories are personal.
The way we protect them should be clear.

See how Memory's AfterLife approaches account verification, private storage, family sharing, beneficiary protection, and the future release of your archive.

✓ Verified Email Registration🔒 Private Cloud Storage🛡 Controlled Future Release
BUILT AROUND YOUR ARCHIVE

Protection at each stage of the memory journey.

Memory's AfterLife is more than a place to upload files. The current platform combines account protection, private object storage, memory organization, Family Space, and a structured beneficiary process.

01

Verify the Account

New password-based Android registrations use a six-digit email verification step before a permanent MAL API session is issued.

02

Protect the Archive

Photos, videos, and files are stored as private cloud objects. The platform uses time-limited presigned access when files need to be delivered to an authorized session.

03

Choose What Family Sees

Family members keep individual accounts and private vaults. Family Space is designed around memories deliberately shared into the family experience.

04

Control Future Release

Adding a beneficiary does not give that person access to your vault today. Future release follows the platform's verification and protected release process.

REAL PRODUCT • REAL PURPOSE

Built to protect memories—and help you keep experiencing them.

The same archive that protects your files also powers Timeline, On This Day, stories, people and relationships, collections, Family Space, and legacy features.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Questions you should ask before trusting a memory service.

Are my files publicly accessible?

The current storage architecture marks uploaded objects private. Authorized file access is delivered through controlled, time-limited URLs rather than a public browseable bucket.

Does my beneficiary see my vault while I'm alive?

No. Designating a beneficiary does not itself grant current vault access. Beneficiary verification and future archive release are separate controlled processes.

How are new email/password accounts verified?

The Android registration flow sends a six-digit code to the submitted email address. The account must complete that verification before the server creates its permanent MAL API token.

Does joining a Family Space expose my entire private vault?

No. The Family system maintains individual accounts and private vaults. Family visibility is based on memories intentionally shared into the Family experience.

Does cancelling my subscription automatically release my archive?

No. Ending billing is not treated as a beneficiary release event. Membership status and future beneficiary release are separate processes.

Can I use Memory's AfterLife for videos too?

Yes. The current vault, Auto-Sync, timeline, rediscovery, and memory experience support both photos and videos.
