SECURITY & PRIVACY

Your Memories Stay Private.
Your Future Access Stays Controlled.

Memory’s AfterLife is designed around two promises: your vault remains protected and under your control during your lifetime, and future access is only provided through a verified, controlled release process.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Your vault is not a public photo album.

Files stored in Memory’s AfterLife are kept in private cloud storage rather than exposed through publicly browsable file locations. Access is provided through authenticated platform controls and secure, time-limited file links.

The goal is simple: your archive should remain yours while you are here.

🔒

Protected During Your Lifetime

  • Private cloud file storage
  • Authenticated account access
  • Expiring file-access links
  • No beneficiary vault access simply because they are named
🛡️
AN IMPORTANT DISTINCTION

Your beneficiary does not receive access to your vault today.

Naming a beneficiary is part of preparing for future release. It does not provide that person with ongoing access to your account or files. Archive access is handled separately through Memory’s AfterLife’s controlled release process.

SIX LAYERS OF PROTECTION

Security across the life of your archive.

Protection is built into storage, access, account continuity and future release.

01
☁️

Private Storage

Your archive is stored in private cloud storage and is not made publicly browsable.

02
🔐

Authenticated Access

Vault access is tied to authenticated account controls rather than open file locations.

03
🔑

Protected File Delivery

Files are delivered through secure, expiring links that provide limited access to the requested file.

04
🛡️

Controlled Release

Future beneficiary access requires verification, secure release controls and approval before archive access is granted.

05

Grace Period Protection

If a membership lapses, the account enters a protected grace period rather than immediately losing its archive.

Verification & Audit Records

Important verification, beneficiary approval and archive-release actions are logged for security and auditing.

CONTROLLED FUTURE RELEASE

Access is a process — not a password handoff.

Memory’s AfterLife separates normal vault access from future archive release, creating checkpoints before beneficiary access can be granted.

1Release RequestA future access process is initiated.
2VerificationRequired identity and release information is checked.
3Secure ReviewRelease controls and account status are reviewed.
4Approved AccessArchive access is provided only after approval.
MORE THAN BACKUP

Protecting a digital legacy requires more than storing files.

Traditional cloud storage is primarily designed to keep files available to the account owner. Memory’s AfterLife also has to consider what happens later — who may receive access, when that access should occur, and how that transition is controlled.

Our Security Philosophy

Your digital life should remain private while you are alive and only be released under verified, controlled conditions.

This is not just cloud storage. It is structured digital estate protection.
